Giving

“Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

We want you to know that you can always give to Village Hope to support the work we do, but we will never ask you to do so. We believe in the Lord’s provision, as He knows our needs greater than we do. If the Spirit leads you to give to this ministry, there are instructions below for the two ways you can donate.

We are grateful for the gifts of prayer and encouragement offered, and for any practical and financial donations made to this ministry.

BACS

Any donations made are direct from your bank account to the Village Hope bank account. Setting this up is easy and takes only a few moments, especially if you use online banking. If you would like to give this way, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Click on the button which will open up a new email from your email program. It is prepopulated with the right information and email address to send to, so all you need to do is press the ‘send’ button.
  2. You will receive an immediate email reply with our bank details so that you can make your donation.
  3. Once you have made your donation, you are welcome to email us with the donation amount for our records and so we can thank you. Details for how to do this will be in the email you received.

Stewardship

If you are a tax payer and would like to have Gift Aid applied to your donation, Stewardship is an easy way to manage this for you and for us. It is used by over 30,000 Christians and over 13,000 churches and charities to make their giving experience easier. More information is available on their website.

  1. Click on the ‘Sign up’ button if you don’t already have an account, or on ‘Sign in’ to sign into your account.
  2. Once signed in, or created a new account and signed in, choose ‘Set up a new gift’ and follow the prompts. Make sure you enter ‘Village Hope’ in the search box.
  3. You can track all your giving from this account, including giving to other churches, charities and individuals in ministry.

PayPal

Many people already have PayPal accounts and are used to making transactions this way, so this is an easy way to make a donation. If you don’t have a PayPal account then we would recommend creating a Stewardship account instead.
